Now that Xmas is over, who's ready for Spring???

I can only tolerate Winter for 3 reasons: Christmas, New Years and one nice White Day of Fresh Snow.
Other than that I can't stand Winter and I'm already counting down the days till the Spring Awakening, Spring Cleaning, and my new Spring Wardrobe that Ive been working on all Fall and Winter.

I preordered this gorgeous torquoise platform sandal from Solestruck. I cannot wait to get them! Find them Messica Coraline.

I saw these gorgeous wedges in the January issue of Elle in an orange/red color! Its the new shoe from MyMu, a line by Gabriela Lanardonne. They will be available Spring 2011 for $298. They are pricey but gorgeous. They remind me of the gold Guiseppe Zanotti's Rihanna wore back in October!
Visit them mymuworld.com
Finally ordered these Jessica Simpson Dany Platforms as well. Get it here for as little as $64-$99 depending on color (silver, black and this camel color above)

Marie Claire: You are my Favorite!

I've decided that I am in love with Marie Claire Magazine. I love Elle too but Marie Claire just gets me everytime with their content! I blogged a while back about an article titled "Gap Generation" about gap tooth beauties. This article really made me feel unique and special. I love that there is actual content in the magazine worth reading. The January Issue with Amy Adams looking amazing on the cover was an awesome read!

Yes, I was drooling over this cover, but moreso over that nail polish lol. I WANT THAT POLISH! It looks like the Chanel Polish but I'm not sure.
She looked amazing (love these shoes) and the interview was great!

There were some other really great articles as well such as: "What it costs to be me" which follows 5 women who live in different parts the world and how much they make, how much they spend, and their fashion expenses. It was really insightful and inspiring and made me feel very lucky. This is the substance magazines need more of.

There was also a great article on one of my style icons Stacy London.

I leave you with more photos of the gorgeous Amy Adams! If you havent picked up this issue yet it's a Must Read!

So whats your favorite magazine?
Mine at the moment is Marie Claire followed closely by Elle and then finally Lucky Magazine (cause a girl loves to shop!!!)

Maxinista

I love maxi dresses. They are so comfortable yet fashionable. Really all you need is a great pair of boots and a coat and your done. I've been wearing more maxis now that its Winter. I like to layer them up with chunky sweaters.

Paired this great ASOS maxi dress with a cable knit vest from Forever 21 and my favorite necklace thrifted from Housing Works Thrift Store.
Got this amazing ring during my trip home to North Carolina for Thanksgiving. See it HERE!!!
